新たな気づきがあるかも。

１個の赤いペーパークリップがついに家に！

このお話。以前何かのテレビで見たことがあったんですが、なんとついに本当に家を手に入れたそうです。

１個の赤いペーパークリップから始まって、物々交換で、いろんなものに換わっていきました。

クリップは最初、魚の形のペンに化け、その後、子供が作ったへんてこりんなドアノブ、コールマンのツーバーナー、なぜか発電機。。

テレビではこの辺まで見たのですが、その後、

スノーモービルやキャンピングカー、レコーディングの契約、フェニックスの家に１年間住む権利、さらにアリス・クーパーと午後を過ごせる権利や、最後にはハリウッド映画出演の権利まで登場して。。

そして、７月８日についに "We've got a house." と書かれています。

いやあ、インターネットってすごいですね。

本日1月27日は、MozartのBirthdayだそうです。
ご存知でしたか？

ルイ・ブライユ (Louis Braille)

今朝、Googleを見たらまたまた不思議なロゴが。
"Happy Birthday Louis Braille!" とあります。

Louis Brailleって誰だろう？
ロゴは何となく点字のようです。

orzとは何か

昨日いただいたコメントに、"orz"という文字列がありました。

"o" "r" "z" とは、何という英語の略なのだろう。。
英語学習モチベーションのブロガーとしては、考えますよねえ。ねえ。
うーん。うーん。分からん。で、Googleで検索してみると。。

そうだったんですかーー。

なんと、orzというのは ○|￣|_ の小さい版だったとは。。
確かに改めて見てみるとその通りです。
○|￣|_ は知っていましたが、orzは知りませんでした。

このサイトでは、2003年の12月に最初のエントリーが書かれています。
今ごろ知った私はなんと時代遅れでしょう(笑)。。
それにしてもすごい数のコメントです。みんな気になっていたんですねぇ。

今日のGoogle。皆さん気づいてましたか？7th birthdayだそうです。ケーキが7つに、l(エル)が7になっていて楽しいですね。

Vincent van Gogh

今日のGoogleのロゴは不思議な絵に変わっていますね。そのロゴをクリックすると、『http://www.google.co.jp/search?q=vincent+van+gogh』でサーチがかかりました。今日はゴッホの誕生日だそうです。
Vincent Willem van Gogh (March 30, 1853 – July 29, 1890) was a Dutch painter, generally considered one of the greatest painters in European art history. He produced all of his work (some 900 paintings and 1100 drawings) during a period of only 10 years before he succumbed to mental illness (possibly bipolar disorder) and committed suicide. He had little success during his lifetime, but his posthumous fame grew rapidly, especially following a showing of 71 of van Gogh's paintings in Paris on March 17, 1901 (11 years after his death).

みなさん。今日3月22日、Googleにアクセスすると、ロゴが変わっていたのをご存知でしたか？そのロゴをクリックすると、『http://www.google.co.jp/search?q=world+water+day+2005』でサーチがかかりました。今日は『World Water Day』なのだそうです。Googleは時々こういうのやりますよね。クリスマスだったか、バレンタインだったか、以前も見たことがあります。『World Water Day』とはなんぞや？ということで調べたかったのですが、『http://www.worldwaterday.org』はビジーでつながりません。
