・I've (deinitely) been preoccupied with / the problems / we will face here. 「確かに私は、こちらで直面する問題で頭がいっぱいでした。」 occupied は知っていますが、preoccupied という単語は初めて知りました。

・There is another angle / that we need to discuss. 「別の視点から検討する必要がある。」

・repercussions 「（間接的）影響、反動」

・I see / what you mean. So, in fact, I should take into account / not only the EU / but even Latin America? 「おっしゃることはわかりました。ということは、EUだけでなくラテンアメリカまでも考えるべきだということですね？」

・You're getting the picture. 「状況がわかってきたね。」「状況を理解する」

・We need to get the big picture / first. 「最初に全体像を理解する必要がある。」

・I'll get on it / right away. 「すぐに取りかかります。」 「will」「get on」「right away」と積極的な表現が並んでいる。

・Let's get down to / business. 「仕事に取りかかりましょう。」「～に真剣に取りかかる」

・I got around to / contacting everyone / this week. 「今週やっと全員に連絡が取れました。」「やっと～する、～に手が回る」

・I got my feet wet / in debate / at college. 「大学時代にディベートを始めました。」「初めて参加する」

・I'm getting the knack of / leading teleconferences. 「電話会議の司会の要領がわかってきました。」「～のコツをつかむ」

・You may want to get / an MBA / under your belt / in order to move up. 「昇進のためにはMBAを取得したほうがいいかもね。」「～を習得する、～を体験する」
